Police Seek Help in 2 Burglary Cases

Both crimes occurred on Aug. 2, 2013 in the 1800 block of 10th Street.

The Manhattan Beach Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in the investigation of two residential burglaries that occurred on Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, in the 1800 block of 10th Street near Harkness Street.

One of the crimes occurred between the hours of 4:30 p.m. and 10:40 p.m. where the home was opened or unlocked. Minimal property was taken. The other occurred between 6:30 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. where the suspects broke a window out of a rear door to gain entry. A heavy safe was removed and jewelry was taken.
