Poll: Did You Go to the Stanley Cup Parade in Hermosa Beach?

There was a parade in Hermosa Beach Monday that gave thousands of Los Angeles Kings fans a chance to see the Stanley Cup in person. Did you attend the parade?

Hermosa Beach resident Jarret Stoll and the Stanley Cup rode in a fire truck down Pier Avenue Monday during a parade that gave thousands of onlookers a chance to see the hockey star hold the Cup aloft.

Police had to clear a path on Pier Plaza so that the fire truck could move through the crowd toward the stage. After presentations were made on stage, Stoll and the Cup took a ride on The Strand in a convertible.

After that, the Cup was transported to Manhattan Beach's Fire Station No. 1 for a private ceremony MB resident and Kings team captain Dustin Brown had requested so he could share the Cup with police and fire personnel as a thank you for their support.
