Power Outage Takes Out Signal at Sepulveda and Manhattan Beach Boulevards

About 2,308 SCE customers in Manhattan Beach are without power due to an unplanned outage Tuesday morning.

About 2,308 Manhattan Beach Southern California Edison customers are without power due to an unplanned outage, according to the utility's online power outage map.

The traffic signal at Sepulveda and Manhattan Beach boulevards is out; city parking staff will man the intersection, according to Sgt. Ron Walker of the Manhattan Beach Police Department.

Police are ascertaining which other signaled intersections have been affected, he said.

Edison has yet to determine what caused the outage or an estimated power restoration time.
