Residents Enjoy 'Coffee With A Cop'

The Manhattan Beach Police Department held its first such event, and it was a huge success.

On the cool winter morning of Jan. 23, the Manhattan Beach Police Department held its first "Coffee With A Cop" event.

Residents and key MBPD personnel gathered at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, 3008 North Sepulveda Boulevard in Manhattan Village. Free coffee and breakfast items were available.

Join MBPD Monday, Feb. 11 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Joslyn Center, 1600 Valley Drive, for a presentation on the "State of the City, Crime & Safety" given by Police Chief Eve R. Irvine. The evening will include information on how you can prevent and deter criminal activity.
