Road Rage Call Turns into Assault Arrest

The man allegedly assaults a police officer during the incident.

A report of road rage turned ugly Saturday afternoon when the alleged perpetrator refused to cooperate with police.

The male driver, who was stopped on Manhattan Beach Boulevard a few blocks away from Sepulveda Boulevard around 2:15 p.m. Saturday, was "non-compliant" when police contacted him, said Lt. Christian Eichenlaub of the Manhattan Beach Police Department.

The man's actions escalated, and he was ultimately arrested for assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest, Eichenlaub said.

Where's the rest of the story? Seems like you missed the part about "report of road rage". Where's the info on the so-called 'report'?

One of the 15 police cars responding to this one guy almost smashed into me going 80 mph down MB Blvd as I pulled out of Wells Fargo on the corner that day. Complete overkill on the response to this. The guy was already in cuffs on the ground when I almost got hit.
