Smash-and-Grab Reported at Manhattan Beach Trader Joe's

A perimeter was set up to catch the suspects to no avail. Stolen were cash and alcohol.

Manhattan Beach Trader Joe’s was a victim of a smash-and-grab early this morning. Police have no suspects.

The call of an audible burglar alarm at the popular market came in at 2:19 a.m., according to a Manhattan Beach Police Department press release. Upon arrival, officers discovered someone smashed the glass in the main entryway.

Officials believe a hammer was used, the news release says.
