Stolen Wallet Results in Unauthorized Bank Withdrawal

Manhattan Beach police say a wallet stolen from inside an upscale grocery store turns into cash for a female white adult. MBPD asks for help to find her.

A wallet stolen from inside Bristol Farms on Rosecrans Avenue was reportedly used nearly two hours later to withdraw money from the victim's bank account, said Manhattan Beach police Tuesday.

MBPD is looking for public involvement to help solve the crime which occurred on March 16 at approximately 4 p.m.

After the wallet was stolen, a white female adult between the age of 25 to 35 entered Bank of America at 3016 Sepulveda Boulevard and withdrew funds  around 5:50 p.m.

Then at 6:12 p.m., the same woman attempted to purchase items at Target, 1200 North Sepulveda Boulevard, but the transaction was denied by the victim’s bank, reports MBPD.

The woman is described as approximately 5’7” and weighing between 140 and 150 pounds. She was seen wearing a black jacket, black V-neck type shirt and hoop earrings.
