Suspect Makes Big Cash at Chase Banks

The man has allegedly withdrawn $2,000, $3,000, $4,200 and $4,500 from checking accounts that didn't belong to him. Police are asking for your help identifying and apprehending the suspect who has visited a Chase Bank branch in Manhattan Beach.

Chase Bank branches in Manhattan Beach, Torrance and Brea have been hit by a suspect who uses an altered driver’s license and credit card to withdraw large sums of money from victims' checking accounts, according to the Manhattan Beach Police Department.

The suspect is described as a black male aged 40 to early 50s, 5' 9" to 6', 190 pounds and a shaved head. He has worn glasses and a shirt and tie in each crime.

The alleged suspect fraudulently withdrew $4,500 and $2,000 from victims' checking accounts on Jan. 24 and Feb. 2 at the Chase Bank branch, 2600 N. Sepulveda Boulevard. He allegedly withdrew $3,000 from a checking account on Jan. 24 at a Chase Bank branch in Torrance and withdrew $4,200 and $3,000 from checking accounts on Jan. 25 at a Chase Bank branch in Brea.
