Traffic Signal Out at Sepulveda and Rosecrans

A blown transformer has snarled traffic since around 12 noon Saturday. SCE is expected to arrive to repair the transformer around 8 p.m.

The traffic light at Sepulveda Boulevard and Rosecrans Avenue, out since about 12 noon Saturday, isn't expected to be working again until sometime after 8 p.m. the same day, said Brandie Alvarez, records technician with the Manhattan Beach Police Department. Southern California Edison is expected to arrive on scene to repair the blown transformer around that time.

MBPD parking officers have been on scene directing traffic, with barricades blocking left hand turns from Rosecrans heading toward the ocean onto Sepulveda and from northbound Sepulveda onto Rosecrans.
