Woman Awakens to Male Intruder in Her Bedroom

Detectives continue to investigate the St. Patrick's Day caper.

In the early morning hours of St. Patrick's Day, a female awakened to find an unknown male in her bedroom, according to the Manhattan Beach Police Department.

Responding to the call, MBPD officers set up a perimeter near the 1600 block of 9th Street and found a man hiding in a nearby neighborhood. The man was taken into custody based on details of the on-scene investigation, MBPD said.

Police continue to investigate the incident which happened on March 17 around 4:04 a.m. and have determined that the man entered the home through an unlocked side door.
