3 Businesses Cited for Selling Alcohol to Minor

The minor decoy alcohol sting spanned Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach and El Segundo. Fifty-one businesses were tested.

Three businesses and an employee from each were cited for selling alcohol to a minor on May 31 during a minor decoy sting, according to Sergeant Chris Vargas of the Manhattan Beach Police Department.

Grocery (1100 Pacific Coast Hwy., Hermosa Beach), 7-11 (100 W. Imperial Hwy., El Segundo) and the El Segundo Fish Co. (210 E. Grand Ave., El Segundo) were the offending establishments, Vargas said. The sting operation was conducted in Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach and El Segundo.
