Candidates Hold Meet & Greets

Three City Council seats are up for grabs in the March 5 election. Here are some candidate events from Friday through Sunday.

Candidates for Manhattan Beach City Council are getting out and about as the March 5 election nears.

Mark Burton will hold a "Meet & Greet" Friday at 7 p.m. at Ercole's followed by a "Campaign Coffee" Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the home of Duke and Irene Dulgarian, 433 33rd Street.

On Saturday, Mark Lipps will be at The Ripe Choice Catering & To Go from 12 noon to 2 p.m. to field questions and discuss city business.

There are six candidates running for three available Council seats. They are: incumbent and current Mayor Wayne Powell, former city councilman and mayor Mitch Ward, Viet Ngo, Mark Lipps, Mark Burton and Tony D'Errico.
