Candidates vying for a seat on the Manhattan Beach City Council will share their views with the public Sunday during a meet and greet sponsored by the South Bay Bicycle Coalition.
The event will be held at the REI store in Manhattan beach near the intersection of Rosecrans and Aviation Boulevard beginning at 4 p.m.
According to the South Bay Bicycle Coalition, which aims at making the South Bay more bike friendly, the event will offer an opportunity to meet some of the city council candidates and hear them speak about their positions on issues affecting the city.
There are six candidates vying for just three city council seat in the March 5 general municipal elections in Manhattan Beach.
Sunday's forum will be the second forum held so far this month. The previous forum, held at the Manhattan Village Mall, focused primarily on publice safety and pension reform, the Beach Reporter reported.
