The forum included U.S. mayors, other officials and leaders in business who dicussed best practices in economic development and business investment attraction with individuals such as the chairman of the China Banking Regulatory Commission and the minister of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce.

“Richard is in excellent company at the U.S.-China Cities Forum, and I am eager to hear what they learn from the Forum. Manhattan Beach is honored to be represented among such an esteemed group of leaders in business and government,” said Manhattan Beach City Manager David Carmany at the time.
