Free Movie Under the Stars in Polliwog Park

The city's Parks and Recreation Department invites the community to attend.

The community will be treated to a free movie in Polliwog Park on Saturday, May 18th starting at 8 p.m. The public may bring blankets, low-back beach chairs,  and food to dine on, according to the city website.

The PG-rated film Brave will be shown. It is rated PG due to "some scary action and rude humor," per the city website and follows Princess Merida, who defies a custom, as she makes her way in life, and must rely on bravery and her archery skills to deal with a beastly curse.

Registration or reservations are not necessary; simply show up. Polliwog Park is at 1601 Manhattan Beach Blvd. and its outdoor amphitheater will be used for this screening.
