Hahn, Huey to Face Off in Debate on 89.3 on the FM Radio Dial

The Democrat and Republican candidate in the July 12th election for the 36th District congressional seat will go at it on KPCC-FM on Thursday morning.

With less than a week to go before the runoff election, KPCC-FM, 89.3, will host the only debate between Republican  and Democrat  in their quest for the 36th Congressional District seat.

People can tune into 89.3 FM for the debate Thursday at 10:30 a.m. The radio debate is scheduled to last for 30 minutes AirTalk host Larry Mantle will moderate.

The station is soliciting questions to ask the candidates. People can call 866-893-5722 during the debate or submit questions online.

The election will take place Tuesday, July 12.

Hahn, a Los Angeles councilwoman, and Huey, a Torrance businessman, are vying for the seat vacated by former Rep. Jane Harman, who resigned earlier this year to take a position with a think tank. The 36th Congressional District covers Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Venice, Marina del Rey and Mar Vista.
