Manhattan Beach Centennial Parade and Picnic Video

Videographer Brad Jacobson has crafted a great video of the city's centennial parade and picnic held on May 19. Manhattan Beach Patch had the pleasure of hanging out near Brad when he shot the parade footage on Manhattan Beach Boulevard.

It was a parade to remember, at least that's what many folks who were in or saw the parade have publicly said time and time again.

Yes, the Manhattan Beach Centennial Parade and Historical Picnic had people lining MB Boulevard and then scampering into Polliwog Park for a picnic celebration complete with food trucks, cakes from Beckers Bakery, tours of the historical society's museum and lots of fun and games for youngsters.

The video includes candid moments with City Council members Amy Howorth, Wayne Powell and Nick Tell and his family, with dancing and singing.
