MB History: Metlox Products on Display

The free exhibit is open through Saturday, March 31 in downtown Manhattan Beach. Manhattan Beach historian and centennial committee member Jan Dennis loans part of her collection for the public viewing.

Former Manhattan Beach Mayor and current resident Jan Dennis is busy these days. She's currently planning [and has been for months], a parade to celebrate the city's centennial. The parade, which will cross Sepulveda Boulevard and culminate with a historical picnic, is set for Saturday, May 19.

Here, Dennis talks with the Daily Breeze about her Metlox collection and how it began, as well as her thoughts and tidbits on the city she calls home.
