No Sharrows on Pacific Avenue, For Now

Proponents of sharrows say the markings calm traffic.

Installing sharrows on Pacific Avenue has been a hot topic for several months, with residents on the street mostly opposed and members of the South Bay bicycling community pushing for them.

Tuesday night, the Manhattan Beach City Council decided not to install sharrows on Pacific, instead opting to install them on Manhattan and Rosecrans avenues, according to an article in the Beach Reporter.
