The Los Angeles Kings player thanks city staff and fans for their support during a ceremony in Fire Station No. 1 adjacent to City Hall. Here are the photos!

Manhattan Beach resident and Los Angeles Kings player Dustin Brown brought the Stanley Cup to Fire Station No. 1 Monday to thank city staff, particularly fire and police personnel, for their support.

During the ceremony, MB Mayor Wayne Powell, Steve Napolitano from Board of Supervisor Don Knabe's office and Congresswoman Janice Hahn presented the star with certificates, a key to the city and city pins.

With Brown's permission, bystanders outside the fire station were admitted so that they could participate in the festivities.

Earlier in the day, the Stanley Cup rode with Kings player Jarret Stoll down Pier Avenue in a fire truck and on The Strand in a Mercedes Benz convertible.

The Cup was then brought to the fire station where city staff, government officials, and others had assembled for the event.
