Event Road Closures Lifted Except for 13th St. Downtown

As of 10 p.m., roads and parking areas that had been closed to accommodate the Taste of Manhattan Beach should have re-opened. The only road that will be closed tomorrow is 13th Street from Morningside to Valley Drive, according to the city website.

It looks like most of the road closures and parking restrictions put in place for Sunday afternoon's Taste of Manhattan Beach event have been lifted, according to the city website.

The one area that will still remain closed until 12 noon on Monday, March 26 is 13th Street from Morningside Drive to Valley Drive.

If you have questions or concerns about the closures, contact the Manhattan Beach Police Department at (310) 802-5169.

If you'd like to express your comment to the city's centennial committee, which put on the event as part of the city's centennial year of celebrations, attend the committee's meeting Monday, March 26, beginning at 5 p.m. in the Police/Fire Conference Room, 420 15th Street.

The centennial committee's next event is a centennial parade and historic picnic at Polliwog Park on Saturday, May 19.
