Trash Collection Holiday Schedule in Manhattan Beach

Trash collection throughout Manhattan Beach will be delayed by one day this week and next due to the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays, according to a representative of Waste Management, the city's service provider.

Customers whose trash, recycling items and green items are normally collected Wednesday, Thursday and Friday should place their carts out for pick-up one day later than usual beginning Thursday, Dec. 26 and Thursday, Jan. 2 since their carts will be emptied the day after their normally scheduled day. Normal Friday pick-ups are moved to Saturday. 

All Waste Management operations will be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 1. Customer service is available at (800) 774-0222.
