Trash Pick Up Delayed One Day

Trash won't be collected on Monday due to Labor Day. Everyone in Manhattan Beach should put trash out for pick up one day later than their scheduled day. Monday collections will be picked up Tuesday, Tuesday trash Wednesday and so on.

Trash collection will be delayed by one day this week in Manhattan Beach.

Street sweeping will not happen on Monday, but regular street sweeping schedules will be maintained the rest of the week.

Waste Management and Athens Services, which hold the city contracts for waste collection and street sweeping, give their employees Labor Day off. Labor Day this year is Monday, Sept. 5.

Street sweeping schedules will be maintained [only Monday will be skipped] and parking tickets will be issued Tuesday through Friday if a vehicle violates posted signs.
