Mira Costa Coach Bob Fish's Death Announced

The high school website reports that the 70-year-old died Sunday.

Bob Fish, a teacher and coach at Mira Costa High School, died on Sunday after a brief battle with cancer, according to the school's website. Fish taught English and coached cross country and track and field at the high school. 

Fish had returned to working in 2010 after taking a year's leave of absence in 2009-2010. La Vista, the award-winning high school newspaper, published an article about him on Dec. 10, 2010
