Emily Varni has made the Dean's List for the fall semester of the 2012-13 academic year at Colby College in Waterville, Maine. To do so, she had to maintain a grade point average of 3.67 or higher.
Varni, a senior at Colby, is the daughter of Mary Ann and Gerard Varni of Manhattan Beach and attended Windward School.
Founded in 1813, Colby College is the 12th-oldest independent liberal arts college in the U.S., providing a rigorous academic program that fosters transformational relationships between students and faculty. The college enrolls 1,825 students.
