Beach Cities Health District, on behalf of the three beach cities, is a finalist to be the next Healthways Blue Zones Vitality City.
If selected, the designation would start a community wide initiative to create healthier, happier and more productive citizens by embracing "blue zone" principles. Learn about the Blue Zones findings on health and well-being and the creation of a Vitality City by joining Dan Buettner, an internationally recognized explorer who founded Blue Zones, LLC. Blue Zones researches the world's best practices in health and longevity. Have the opportunity to learn and ask questions in a small group setting.
