Kit Becker Film to Screen at OpenLens Festival

Manhattan Beach native Kit Becker has a film screening in the OpenLens Festival next month.

Manhattan Beach native and Mira Costa High School graduate Kit Becker's film Crossed and Forgotten will be screened during the 10th annual OpenLens Festival, according to a post on the University of Oregon website.

Becker directed, shot and edited the film with Charlie Harrington, a fellow cinema studies student at the University of Oregon.

OpenLens, known for its emphasis on short films of 15 minutes or less produced in a variety of genres, is a celebration of the independent spirit in Oregon filmmaking. The festival is a juried film program that shines the spotlight on the diversity of film genres explored by Oregon's emerging and established film artists.

Crossed and Forgotten is a short experimental narrative featuring Portland’s historic Broadway Bridge.

OpensLens is set for Saturday, Feb. 1 in Eugene, OR.
