MB's Celebrity Chef Devin Alexander Makes 'Little Devs' for Students

The lucky students will have a chance to sample a lean burger patterned after a fast food giant's famous hamburger.

Celebrity chef and Manhattan Beach resident Devin Alexander will give high school taste buds delicious, healthier, low-cal food when she serves her famous "Little Dev" Wednesday between 4:15 and 5:30 p.m. at Redondo Union High School during their Student Union Grand Opening.

The grand opening showcases Redondo Union's new cafeteria, which will bring healthier meal options to students. The new cafeteria meets standards set by Alliance for a Healthier Generation. All cafeteria food will be baked or grilled, instead of using a fryer.

Alexander's 'Little Dev' is a lean beef burger, patterned after McDonald's Big Mac, that packs all the flavor in only 11 grams of fat.
