Mira Costa Holds Lively Improv Comedy Match

Students and alumni elicit nonstop laughter as they square off in the season's last high school ComedySportz improv battle.

Mira Costa's funniest made for a side-splitting night.

Four teams of current students and alumni put their improv skills to the test in Mira Costa's last ComedySportz High School League competition of the season. Run by ComedySportz LA, the program teaches students the art of impromptu humor--as skillfully displayed in the jam-packed drama room Friday night.

The alumni put up a strong fight, but ultimately lost to the students' humorous skits and one-liners by a slim 32-33 score.

"It's good to be back with everyone watching," said alumnus Jack Myles. "The energy in the room is great."
