SCE Scholarship Deadline Friday for High School Seniors
Applicants must live in an area serviced by Southern California Edison.
Southern California Edison reminded high school seniors Monday that the deadline for applying for its Edison Scholars Program -- 30 scholarships for up to $40,000 each are awarded -- is Friday.
Applicants must live in or attend school in an area serviced by SCE, plan to study science, technology, engineering or math in college and have a GPA of 2.8 or better.

Scholarship recipients will be announced in April. Those awarded scholarships may also be eligible for summer internships at SCE after their second year of college.
