Six Mira Costa Seniors Earn Scholarships from the MB Coordinating Council

Each student is the recipient of a $3,000 scholarship to assist them with costs associated with their college education.

From the Manhattan Beach Coordinating Council: 

The Manhattan Beach Coordinating Council hosted their Scholarship Luncheon Thursday at the Belamar Hotel in Manhattan Beach. Six seniors from Mira Costa High School were introduced and recognized for their community service and outstanding academic accomplishments. 

The scholarship recipients included: Nikos Villarreal Styles (Outstanding Male Student), Emily Everhard (Outstanding Female Student), Matthew Wenner (Outstanding Academics), Anthony Lee (Trade/Vocational Studies), Madison Jett Miketa (Phyllis Cohen-Edwards Memorial) and Kelly Sass (Manhattan Beach Police Officers’ Association Officer Martin Ganz Memorial).

Each student is the recipient of a $3,000 scholarship to assist them with costs associated with their college education. 

For those who are new to Manhattan Beach Coordinating Council, what makes the organization unique is the mission, “To establish a forum to promote networking, communication and information exchange among agencies, organizations and individuals and to provide recognition to local students.”
