Students of the Month Honored
The Manhattan Beach Coordinating Council fetes three students selected as Students of the Month for April.
Sabrina Enomoto of Manhattan Beach Middle School, Jillian Turkmany of American Martyrs and Amber VanBuskirk of Mira Costa High School were honored at a luncheon Thursday as the Manhattan Beach Coordinating Council Students of the Month. Dr. Michael Matthews, superintendent of the Manhattan Beach Unified School District, was the featured speaker. MBMS and MCHS are part of MBUSD.
MBCC will award scholarships to MCHS students at its final luncheon of the year on Thursday, May 17.
