Ugly Holiday Sweaters in Manhattan Beach

Mira Costa High School students donned their ugly holiday sweaters on Friday, Dec. 20 as they prepared to enjoy their two-week holiday recess. Faculty and administrators joined in the festivities, too.

In addition, students collected more than 11,700 cans to donate to the Salvation Army, 65 Angel Tree Gifts that included toys and pajamas, 40 toys to be delivered to the Harbor Medical Center on Christmas Eve and more than 60 collected for the Beach Cities Toy Drive.

Students also adopted 19 families from the Richstone Family Center, giving them bikes, toys and gifts.
