Conditions Darn Nice for Surfing

You can break out just about any board, that's how good the surf is.

Good Tuesday morning surf enthusiasts, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Manhattan Beach Patch surf report. Well, it looks like one of those days where you can break out just about any board. Basically, we're seeing a fun size mixture of energy out there!

Those conditions are pretty clean and glassy from the start, with a combination of some south southwest swell and some decent northwest windswell in the water.

That recipe is providing this stretch of sand with some fairly broken-up lines, with plenty of workable shoulders. Most Manhattan Beach spots are pulling about knee to chest high waves, with the focal points pulling an occasional shoulder high set.

Taking a look at the tides, at 10:03 this morning it drains out to a 0.7 low, which will have some spots lacking water and on the inconsistent side mid-morning. The tide then pushes back up to a 4.2 high at 5:11 this evening, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

If you're going to grab a session, then breakout a 3/2 fullsuit with the water temperature averaging between 57 and 59 degrees. Have fun out there!
