International Surf Festival Ends

Manhattan Beach 13-year-old and budding photographer Beth Scott took this shot Friday night in Hermosa Beach during the opening of the International Surf Festival, which concluded today.

Proud Manhattan Beach mom Jill Scott submitted daughter Beth's photo for use by Manhattan Beach Patch.

Beth took this amazing shot Friday night during the opening night of the International Surf Festival in Hermosa Beach. She captured a demonstration of a helicopter rescue.

The three-day, 50-year-old festival ended today with Simmzy's/Beckers Bakery winning the Charlie Saikley 6-Man Volleyball Tournament in Manhattan Beach by stealing the title from three-peaters Team Magnum [aka Team Smack].

Stay tuned to MB Patch for details and results of the 6-Man and other surf fest events.
