It's a Small Wave Gear Day
We're back to mostly small mode, but the weather is nice, so why not head on out?
Waking up with the waves on Wednesday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Manhattan Beach Patch surf report. Well, you're not going to find any sizable surf, that's for sure, but if you like the small stuff, then it might be worth getting out the small wave gear.
The conditions are looking nice and glassy this morning and it looks like we're finally seeing some nice weather, so if nothing else, get out there and go for a paddle. There's a minimal mix of leftover south southwest energy and some minor northwest swell.
That recipe is delivering some crumbly sectiony lines, with a few fun workable corners. Most Manhattan Beach spots are running about knee to waist high, with the standout combo breaks pulling a few plus sets.

Taking a look at the tides, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, at 10:54 later this morning it drops to a 1.0 low, which will have some spots needing water mid to late morning. The tide then pushes back up to a 4.5 high at 5:50 this evening.
If you're going to get wet, throw on a 3/2 fullsuit, with the water temperature averaging between 58 and 61 degrees. Good luck out there!
