Mira Costa Beats San Bernardino

It was a long drive, but the Mustangs toppled the Cardinals 62-54.

Mira Costa Boys basketball (At Large) upset the #6 ranked Cardinals of San Bernardino High 62-54.

It was a long, wet drive from Manhattan Beach to San Bernardino this afternoon and boys left Costa at 1:00 p.m. for a 7:00 p.m. tip off.

The Cardinals came out fast and strong, hitting their first two 3-point shots. But the Costa players efficiently and calmly stuck with their well concieved game plan.  By the end of the first quarter, Costa had taken the lead and controlled the game with this season's best team effort.
