Olympic Athletes Train on MB Sand
Two-time Olympic gold medalists Kerri Walsh and Misty May-Treanor are photographed with other London Olympics Games beach volleyball athletes practicing in Manhattan Beach.
If your sport is beach volleyball and you're training for the 2012 London Olympics, where else but Manhattan Beach would you dig into the sand to practice!
Such was the case for MB resident Kerri Walsh, 33, who joined her Olympics partner Misty May-Treanor, 34, for some photographed beach volleyball action on Monday, April 9.
In addition to the Team USA duo, other Olympic beach volleyball athletes out on the sands of Manhattan Beach Monday included players from Germany and China.
