Good Tuesday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Manhattan Beach Patch surf report. Well, we're seeing plenty of playful size waves out there, so go grab a session at some point during the day!
The conditions are starting off pretty clean early on, with mainly new slowly building south southwest swell and a little leftover northwest energy in the water. That recipe is making for some fairly crossed up lines, with some fun rip-able corners.
Most Manhattan Beach spots are running about knee to stomach high, with the spots that pick up the most south-facing energy seeing chest high sets.

Checking those tides thanks to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. At 4:58 this morning it drained out to a negative 1.4 low, which will have many spots lacking water early to mid-morning. The tide then pushes back up to a 4.2 high at 11:17 later this morning and then drops again to a 1.3 low at 4:26 this afternoon.
If you're planning on paddling, that water temperature has climbed up a bit, so you can definitely wear a 3/2 fullsuit, with it averaging between 57 and 58 degrees. See ya in the water!
