Stanley Cup on the Sand in Manhattan Beach

Which Los Angeles Kings player do you think hauled the 34.5 pound Cup onto the beach near the ocean to share with onlookers Sunday?

The Stanley Cup made an appearance on the sand in Manhattan Beach Sunday afternoon.

According to MB resident Mark Lim, the Cup was in the possession of Anze Kopitar, who was on the sand near First Street and The Strand.

Lim told Manhattan Beach Patch that a crowd gathered around Kopitar and the Cup near ocean's edge. As the Los Angeles Kings player brought the Cup toward The Strand, Lim, who was on a bike ride to Hermosa Beach to grab a bite, was then able to snap a photo or two.

"It was such a cool thing to see," Lim tweeted MB Patch, writing how proud he is of the Kings even though he's not much of a hockey fan.

Kopitar is said to live in the city, as are Mike RichardsJeff CarterDustin BrownDrew Doughty, coach Darryl Sutter and former King Rob Blake.

On Tuesday, one day after winning the Stanley Cup, Kings captain Dustin Brown took it to his home where his young sons blew bubbles into chocolate milk that was poured to fill the Cup.

The Cup also made an early a.m. appearance Tuesday at North End Bar & Grill in Hermosa Beach, where Kings players have long hung out over the years.

Tell us where you thing the Stanley Cup might be spotted in the next week or so?
