Good Tuesday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Manhattan Beach Patch surf report. Well, the waves have decreased, but there' still plenty of playful energy on tap today.
It's starting off mostly clean, with a combination of energy out there. We're seeing some fading west northwest swell, some remnant southerly windswell and some small south southwest energy in the water.
That recipe is providing some racy sectiony lines, with plenty of fun shoulders to be had. Most Manhattan Beach spots are running about waist to shoulder high, with the focal points pulling some head high sets.

At 6 this morning the tide drained out to a negative 0.7 low which is going to have many spots lacking water early on. The tide then pushes back up to a 4.1 high at 12:11 this afternoon, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association. Your best bet for surfing is probably sometime mid-morning!
If you're planning on paddling, break out at least a 3/2 fullsuit or better yet a 4/3 and possibly the booties, with the water temperature hanging between 56 and 57 degrees. See ya in the water!

FYI..Don't forget the county health eepartment urges surfers and swimmers to stay out of the ocean for at least 72 hours after a rain due to urban runoff, especially near storm drains, river mouths and harbor entrances.
