The View from MB: Camp Surf

A little and big hotdogger share a surfboard to catch waves in the Pacific Ocean. Oh, what a joy!

The Jimmy Miller Memorial Foundation gives and gives to a world in need. Their summer Camp Surf is open to kids and adults and offers a 1-to-4 instructor-to-student ratio.

Surfing opens a whole new world to kids and adults. The natural high wave lovers can get from "sitting on top of the world" is part of what makes Manhattan Beach the great community that it is.

The foundation's ocean therapy gives veterans in the Los Angeles area and marines at Camp Pendleton a chance to focus on nothing but surfing, an experience that can take them out of their stressful world and deliver them into a newfound chance for change.
