19-Hit Attack Propels MB Boys to Victory
The Junior Little League All Stars will play Monday and Tuesday. You can catch the action live online. They're just games away from securing a spot in the Junior World Series.
Pitcher Tommy Bothwell got the win Saturday against a Beaverton, Oregon team and had four hits in the Manhattan Beach Little League Junior All Stars' 11-1 victory in Vancouver, Washington.
Rollie Nichols and Zack Chan each added three hits to help pace the Southern Californians' 19-hit attack.
The MB boys (3-0) play a team from Nevada (1-2) Monday in the round robin Western Region tournament. The semi-finals will be held Tuesday and the Manhattan beach team is guaranteed a spot.

Wednesday's finals will determine who represents the Western United States at the Little League Junior World Series in Taylor, Michigan next weekend.
