Cory Williams 3Peats and More Grand Prix Photos

The teenager takes first place in Category 2 for the third consecutive year in the Chevron race in Manhattan Beach. Here are just a few photos from the day.

Los Angeles resident Cory Williams took home his third first place finish in the Category 2 race at the Chevron Manhattan Beach Grand Prix Sunday.

For the former member of Crenshaw's L.A. City Section champion football team, the victory had to feel good. In fact, his win was a bit of a family affair.

"My brother was protecting me out there, leading me through the last seven laps and keeping me out of trouble," Williams told the Daily Breeze. "He [C.J. Williams] then dropped me off in the last 250 meters and I made my move," Cory said.
