Farmers Market June 5: Open til 5 p.m.

Just a few hours remain for shoppers of the Manhattan Beach Farmers Market.

Some of the features at today's Manhattan Beach Farmers Market include the rich white fillet of fresh Branzino (Mediterranean Sea Bass) and Aliki's Greek salads and spinach artichoke hummus, said Susan Hillyer, market manager.

Other finds at the market include Schreiner's German frankfurters in natural casing, The Good Cookie's Blondie Brownie, their No. 1 seller that is gluten-free, wheat-free and dairy free and sweet organic strawberries, beautiful greens, Maui onions and squash from Smith Farms.

There's also lots of stone fruit (cherries, nectarines, peaches, apricots) from MB Farms, Naylor and Arnett Farms, said Hillyer.

Manhattan Beach Farmers Market takes place every Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. downtown at 13th Street and Morningside Drive.
