What's Up: Free Holiday Parking, Holiday Stroll, Yuletide 5K

The North Manhattan Beach holiday stroll happens Thursday night.

Here are five things for your Monday and beyond:  

  1. The city is offering free holiday parking. Details here.
  2. The Manhattan Beach City Council will meet in closed session Tuesday to discuss the sale of former City Manager David Carmany's home at 2913 Pacific Ave. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. in council chambers at 1400 Highland Ave.
  3. The annual holiday stroll event in North Manhattan Beach takes place on Thursday. Mark your calendars now.
  4. The Manhattan Beach Yuletide 5K happens Dec. 21 at 5:30 p.m. The event includes a 5K Run/Walk for all ages, the Elves Dash 1K (ages 7-12) at 6:30 p.m., the Little Elves 400m (ages 3-6) at 6:40 p.m. and  
    Crawlers 50m (2 years old and younger) at 6:50 p.m. Sign up online. More details here.
