What's Up: World Hello Day, Holiday Fireworks, Holiday Stroll, Yuletide Runs

Here are five things for your Thursday and beyond in Manhattan Beach:  

1. Pick a holiday: Today is False Confession Day, World Hello Day and the Great American Smokeout, according to Holiday Insights.
2. The 25th Annual Manhattan Beach Holiday Fireworks Festival is set for Dec. 8 from 3:30-7 p.m. Schedule of events here.
3. The annual holiday stroll event in North Manhattan Beach takes place on Thursday, Dec. 12. Mark your calendars now.
4. The Manhattan Beach Yuletide 5K is set for Dec. 21 at 5:30 p.m. The event includes a 5K Run/Walk for all ages, the Elves Dash 1K (ages 7-12) at 6:30 p.m., the Little Elves 400m (ages 3-6) at 6:40 p.m. and
