Our diverse group of educators is composed of credentialed teachers, many who have graduate level education awarding them MA degrees and PhD's. Each of our educators has their own areas of academic expertise and extracurricular talents. Together we make a strong, diverse, and collaborative team, whose aim is to work together to best support the vast range of academic, social, and emotional needs of the children in our local community. At our unique facility we expertly match each student with a tutor who is equipped to best meet the student's individual needs. We are here to not only tutor your children, but to build their self-confidence and sense of self-efficacy. As educators we understand the importance of a child's ability to self manage and its role in alleviating the homework stress for both parents and children. At Miss Bee's Tutoring we provide the tools and study skills necessary to develop this ability so students can become self-learners and reach their learning potential.
Miss Bee's Tutoring offers a range of academic services for students in grades K to 12. Miss Bee's offers one-on-one tutoring and paired tutoring, and features an after school homework club. Both private and paired tutoring focus on individualized instruction. Students are matched with the teacher who is best equipped to meet their specific learning and personal needs. Educators at Miss Bee's monitor student progress with ongoing individual assessments and parent/teacher communication while utilizing innovative lesson plans and iPad technology. Miss Bee's goal is to not only improve a child's grades and relationship with their school, but to also keep children personally accountable, motivated and on track. At Miss Bee's homework club, students' homework needs are attended to by its teachers with a 5:1 student-teacher ratio. Enrolled students have access to Mac computers and all project supplies, and are kept on task, receive the academic support needed to complete homework correctly and improve their ability to self manage. Miss Bee's also offers enrichment workshops, including art, science exploration, writers' workshop, drama and Spanish. Please call for days and times.
