Penny Lane is a Japanese and sushi restaurant located in 820 Manhattan Ave. It might be called a no-frills, hole-in-the-wall place. It has regulars who dine there often and the restaurant keeps their chopsticks in a little box for them when they return to dine again. Its name is taken from the Beatles' song, with lyrics that say "four of fish and finger pies." It specializes in sushi and sashimi rolls, yellowtail sashimi and lobster hand rolls. One of the dishes raved about is strawberry croissants. Pricing is in the medium range.
