GrowingGreat got its start in 1999 and has been working ever since to inspire children and adults to adopt healthy…More eating habits. This nonprofit garden engages local residents by allowing those who visit the garden to dig their hands in the dirt and learn about making healthy decisions when it comes to food.</p> <p>The garden organizes nutritional lessons, community events and works with local area students. The organization also offers a program called Harvest of the Month, where Farmers Market produce is served in the school cafeteria for lunch. GrowingGreat's vision is to change the eating and nutritional habits of current and future generations of students, families and communities. </p>
